Chua Mot Cot - One-Pillar Pagoda

Originally built in 1049 the wooden pagoda sits on a single concrete pillar rising out of a lotus pool. I t was reconstructed after the departing French soldiers destroyed it in 1954.

They've a lot to answer for them Frenchies... What a beautiful setting, no wonder you started a blog about here and what you found. I'm so glad you are sharing it with us.
BTW. I feel a bit better today, I took Jane to work this morning at the Wedding Gown shop she works at, and I called at a shop for some card as I had printing to do.. that tired me out so I came back and lied down for an hour.
Catch you over at P.N.G.
