A break in the weather - so lets have a parade.

The rain cleared enough one afternoon in Sapa for these men to practise their marching for a parade.

We never did find out what they were celebrating, but it was very colourful and brightened up what had been a very wet, muddy day.

Incredibly vivid colours, Jules.

If they're anything like us Brits, they're just celebrating the fact that it's stopped raining.

Old Tom - they were all eyeing off my 2 beautiful daughters - the young boys were all giggling and pointing and smiling at them. So it was them not an old duck like me they were celebrating!!!
