At the risk of incurring the wrath of the animal rights lobby, I love seeing working horses.
We have huge Suffolk Punch dray horses here and they still pull carts for the breweries and the more traditional traders.
Much nicer than a stupid lorry belching fumes.
This is exactly like the Hungary I grew up in 50 years ago. Another half century and Viet Nam will have been updated.
The poor horse in the last picture seems to be struggling with those bricks..
Beast of Burden.... I've not heard that phrase for a long time.
